Choose the right material for custom speaker adapters – CarAudioFabrication

When we build custom speaker adapters for a car or truck it is important that the adapters can handle being exposed to moisture. For this reason we will protect MDF with fiberglass resin, paint, or bedliner. But realistically I feel the best solution is to use a plastic material for the speaker bracket adapters. In this video I explain why plastic is superior for use in custom speaker adapters, rather than MDF or wood.
